Sabiha Gökçen Jet Fuel Storage Terminal

In response to the increasing air traffic at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, GTS has been awarded the tender for the construction of a new jet fuel terminal, to supplement the existing fuel tank infrastructure.

Under this project, construction has commenced on a new fuel terminal comprising four fuel tanks, each with a capacity of 5,000 m³, totaling 20,000 m³ of storage. The terminal is designed to supply 50% of the airport’s jet fuel demand. The facility is being constructed in full compliance with international standards and regulations, including those set by the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), the American Petroleum Institute (API), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
