SAW Terminal

Established as an addition to the existing fuel tank farm to meet the growing air traffic and jet fuel needs of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, the terminal commenced operations in 2025. Global Terminal Services (GTS) was awarded the tender for the establishment of the new terminal, and the investment was implemented through a strategic partnership between Nakkaş Holding and Petrol Ofisi Group.

The terminal comprises four storage tanks, each with a capacity of 5,000 m³, providing a total jet fuel storage capacity of 20,000 m³. Designed to meet 50% of the airport’s fuel needs, the facility provides safe and efficient storage, handling and fuel supply services, supported by infrastructure that complies with JIG (Joint Inspection Group), API (American Petroleum Institute) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards and applicable regulations.

The terminal is strategically important to the growing operations of Sabiha Gökçen Airport, which serves millions of passengers each year. It strengthens jet fuel supply capacity and contributes to the continuity of aviation operations.
